The global impact of Solo Leveling is insane and it’s getting even more worldwide coverage thanks to its anime adaptation. However, the series recently found itself amidst a heavy backlash with several fans online voicing their unhappiness with it, and to many people’s surprise, one of the voices of concern came from the most celebrated YouTube figure, MrBeast.
American Youtuber and the owner of the second-most-subscribed channel on the platform, MrBeast took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his disappointment regarding the Solo Leveling Episode 7.5 which was a recap and currently holds the record of the most disliked episode on Crunchyroll.
In response to a post, MrBeast revealed that he wasn’t happy with the filler and felt “depressed” over the episode release on the streaming platform. “This show is amazing and when I saw the new episode was filler it actually made me depressed for a few minutes”, he quoted via his official X account.
While the Youtuber was quite saddened by the recap of Solo Leveling, several other fans have also been very vocal about their disregard for the latest filler episode. The reception couldn’t have been more negative for Solo Leveling Episode 7.5 as it is now the lowest-rated episode on the streaming service.
Regardless of that, the general perception of Solo Leveling anime thus far has been extremely positive. Despite all the setbacks, the production staff at A-1 Pictures is progressively working towards delivering top-notch episodes. A lot of fans are being introduced to the series and MrBeast’s reaction confirms the same.
