The wait is over for the highly anticipated Solo Leveling anime adaptation which has finally arrived on Crunchyroll. While vivid readers and fans of the manhwa series can’t be more excited and thrilled to binge watch the season premiere, the burning question on every viewer’s mind is: where to watch Solo Leveling Anime Episode 1?
Originally written by Chugong, Solo Leveling began as a Korean web novel, dating back as early as 2015. Later, it was adapted into a manhwa with illustrations by REDICE Studio’s Sung-rak Jang a.k.a DUBU. Almost a decade after the project’s inception, it’s high time for the franchise to enter into the world of animation with the first episode launch this Saturday.

Under the production of A-1 Pictures, the globally recognized manhwa series has come to life on the small screen. Solo Leveling Episode 1 is now streaming on Crunchyroll which is currently offering a free premium trial for new users. The anime is available to stream in over 200 countries around the globe.
Dubs for the series will also be produced in English, Latin American Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Castilian Spanish, and Russian. However, dubs viewers have to wait for a while as the premiere dates for each of the dub languages haven’t been announced yet and it’s expected to be revealed at a later date.

Solo Leveling Anime Episode 1 Staff Details
A team comprised of industry veterans is actively working on the Solo Leveling anime project. The series is being produced at A-1 Pictures (known for “Sword Art Online”, “Blue Exorcist”, and “Kaguya-sama: Love is War”) with Shunsuke Nakashige as the director and Noboru Kimura as the scriptwriter.
Tomoko Sudo is in charge of the character designs meanwhile, the music composition is done by Hiroyuki Sawano who’s known for his work in “Attack on Titan”. South Korean boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER will perform the opening theme “LEveL” with krage performing the ending theme “request”.
Solo Leveling Anime Cast & Episode Count
The voice-acting cast of Solo Leveling anime Episode 1 includes some unfamous seiyuu profiles, but they’ve put their heart and soul to bring the characters to life. The protagonist Sung Jinwoo is voiced by Taito Ban who was recently seen in “The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten” as Amane Fujimiya.
The supporting cast features Genta Nakamura as Yoo Jinho, Reina Ueda as Cha Hae-In, Daisuke Hirakawa as Choi Jong-In, Hiroki Touchi as Baek Yoonho, Makoto Furukawa as Woo Jinchul, and Banjo Ginga as Go Gunhee. Additionally, Solo Leveling anime is expected to be split-cour with a total of 24 episodes airing in first season.

The worldwide premiere of Solo Leveling anime Episode 1 on January 6th has kickstarted Sung Jinwoo’s journey to become the strongest Hunter mankind ever known. Almost a decade long wait of the manhwa community has finally come to an end and fans can’t be more delighted to witness an epic adaptation.
