Football world or sports fans in general will be delighted to hear that a brand new feature film based on the journey of Seishiro Nagi of “Blue Lock” is all set to release theatrically next year. The makers of the anime television series have unveiled a new trailer and visual to commemorate the Blue Lock movie release date.
Blue Lock’s upcoming film titled “Blue Lock Movie – Episode Nagi” has dropped its main trailer which gives us a glimpse of the egoistic story of the birth of a genius, Seishiro Nagi. A new key visual has also been uplifted, confirming the premiere date for the highly anticipated Blue Lock movie.

The production staff at Studio 8bit is actively working on the Blue Lock movie, building upon the success of the previous installment. With details about the coming film finally being revealed, enthusiasts can’t help but eagerly anticipate what lies ahead.
Blue Lock movie is likely to be directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe with Kishimoto Taku as series screenwriter, Shunsuke Ishikawa as assistant director, and Masaru Shindou as character designer. The voice-acting cast will be returning to reprise their roles in the film.
Blue Lock Movie Release Date
The “Blue Lock – Episode Nagi” movie is scheduled to be released in Japan on April 19, 2024. The movie will be set before the events of the anime and it will focus on Nagi Seishiro’s journey as he tries to become the best striker in the world. The film will mainly focus on the duo of Nagi and Reo with the rest of the cast taking part as side characters.
Based on the manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, the film will see new character introductions with lots of drama and intense football action. The movie is sure to be a hit among the fans and it will be a great opportunity to see more of Nagi.
