Eiichiro Oda’s action-adventure shōnen battle series, One Piece is in business for around two decades and it’s still going rock solid. While the anime adaptation is scattering its charisma through beautiful visuals, the manga counterpart is a never-ending loop of plot twists and reveals. But, in a recent event, the fandom has been in turmoil as someone predicted the One Piece ending leaks.
A Reddit user named “gohdroger” recently shared a post explaining his theories on how One Piece will end. His potential ending thread caused a stir in the community and the fans started believing it to be true. Their suspicion became more strong when the user’s post was taken down from Reddit and he got banned as well from the One Piece subreddit for spoiling the series.
Some fans even claimed that the potential leaker is somehow in direct contact with the makers of the series. However, “gohdroger” came forward and clarified that he is just writing his own fan theories and had no connection with the author or any staff member. But, the fans are still in disbelief and are finding this ending to be real.
The “Fake” One Piece Ending Leaks
The spoilers by Reddit user reveals a journey filled with twists and turns as it highlights the meeting between Luffy and Joyboy. When Luffy first encounters Dyras (Joyboy), he apologizes for an unknown reason, setting the stage for a deeper mystery to unfold. Im, the mysterious figure chasing Shanks for the possession of Luffy’s Straw hat, plays a vital role in the story’s history.
As per spoilers, Luffy will go back to the past (around Chapter 1100) exactly 900 years and 9 months ago. He will time travel back with the help of three devil fruits – his own, Franky’s, and Bonney’s. Franky will get Kuma’s fruit, who died saving Bonney. In past, Luffy will meet two brothers, the oldest Crown Prince and the younger brother Prince Dyras (future Joyboy).
Dyras is known as the “monkey”, while Im Sama is supposed the be the wise one. The One Piece ending leaks goes on to reveal that Im is secretly working with outsiders (20 nations) to set up a coup to steal the crown because he secretly discovered that Dyras will be the next heir.
The origin of the devil fruits is also explained in the leaks, with four original fruits existing in the world – Sun God, Air God, Earth God, and Rain God. Dragon holds the Rain God devil fruit, and Vegapunk hints at the creation of devil fruits being based on people’s desires. Blackbeard’s unique ability to hold multiple devil fruits is explained by him having multiple hearts. The person wielding the Earth God’s devil fruit is an ally to Im Sama.
Ancient weapons and fleet admiral Akainu’s tragic backstory are also part of the potential One Piece ending leaks. The war between Blackbeard and Red hair Pirates, with many deaths confirmed, is also in development. The final showdown will be between Luffy and Blackbeard in a dream world, leading to Blackbeard’s eternal slumber.
Apart from all these events, Enel’s return to Earth, Luffy’s meeting with his father, and the Straw Hats reaching Rockstar Island to witness Im’s face are also part of the ending. But, as long as it’s not written by Oda himself, nothing can be said about how the series finale will be decided. Only time will tell if this theory was right on point or not. Until then embrace the journey with Luffy and his gang.
