The battle of the Onigashima is finally closing up with the release of a new One Piece manga chapter each week. Eiichiro Oda is not in the mood to disappoint his fans even the slightest and the shocking mentions in the past couple of chapters is a proof of it. Anime is doing excellent and so did the manga version and fans should be prepared for what comes next in the series.
The previous chapter of One Piece surprised the viewers with Luffy & Kaido’s climax battle. Also, fans were really relieved to see Luffy’s appeal and Momo’s involvement in the last chapter. However, the early spoilers from One Piece chapter 1050 seem really bizarre as Wano Country has finally got its new Shogun and Luffy has been declared winner in the battle against Kaido.
One Piece Chapter 1049 Recap
Chapter 1049 of One Piece featured a major flashback from Kaido’s childhood. In the past, Kaido was placed in the custody of the Marines so his country could join the World Government until he escaped and joined the Rocks Pirates. In the present, as the remaining CP0 agent flees and the water from Raizo’s scroll spreads throughout the rest of Onigashima to drench the rest of the fire, Kaido’s Flame Clouds disappear around Onigashima.
As Luffy declares that he will create a world where his friends can eat as much as they like, he administers the final blow. Momonosuke successfully creates his own Flame Clouds to safely land Onigashima, just as both he and Luffy collapse from exhaustion. And, the next chapter of One Piece will take on from here.
One Piece Chapter 1050 Spoilers
According to the early leaks, One Piece chapter 1050 is titled “Glory” and it finally concludes the battle between Kaido & Luffy. The chapter starts with Reiju & Ichiji arriving to help their siblings Niji & Yonji. Kaido is seen falling into the magma deep under the Wano Island where Big Mom is also present.
There is a flashback of Toko & Yasuei where they are shown eating the SMILE fruits. Yasuei ate the Smile just because of Toko because he didn’t want Toko to laugh alone. Shortly, we’re back to the present scenario where Nekomamushi announces Luffy’s victory to all of Onigashima.
In the next panel, we see Momo telling Zunesha that he will open the border for Wano Country, but not now. He lands in the Flower Capital and turns into human form again. At the end of the chapter, Denjiro comes into the scene with a special announcement, “I have brought here the new Shogun of Wano!”.
Now, what will happen to Kaido & his army and why Momo isn’t ready yet to open the boundaries for Wano? The truth will be uncovered when One Piece Chapter 1050 will officially drops out.

One Piece Chapter 1050 is scheduled to release on Sunday, May 29th. The release date can vary for some international readers due to differences in time zone but, it will be either the previous day or the next day of its initial release.
