Following the release of two mediocre episodes in the past weeks, Solo Leveling anime will be back on track this Saturday. As anticipation is mounting amongst the fans regarding the future of the series, the production staff behind the anime has teased plenty of chaotic excitement in the upcoming episodes.
In an exclusive interview with CBR, Solo Leveling ADR Director Caitlin Glass and the English voice artist of Sung Jinwoo, Aleks Le sparked a flurry of excitement and speculation within the Solo Leveling community, suggesting that fans “aren’t ready” for what’s to come next in the anime adaptation of the series.
When asked about the future plans for the production of the Solo Leveling anime, the voice director playfully made a teasing remark. “I think it’s going to be really exciting for folks who haven’t read the manhwa. Some things are coming that will make you throw your popcorn and drop your drinks”, she replied.
“It’s a lot and bombastic is a great word for it. It keeps going and keeps pulling you in and wanting more”, Glass further added. Sung Jinwoo’s English voice actor, Aleks Le (previously voiced Zenitsu, Mikey and Anos Voldigoad) chipped in by saying, “I will say this – keep your heads on. It’s about to get real crazy”.
Both Glass and Le have been involved with the Solo Leveling dub’s pre-production for almost a year, meaning their words can be taken for granted. Additionally, this revelation by the core staff itself suggests that next week and onward will continue to be a treat for Solo Leveling fans as it will keep viewers on their toes.
Crunchyroll’s passion-driven production of Solo Leveling has earned accolades across the globe. Solo Leveling Episode 9 titled “You’ve Been Hiding Your Skills” is scheduled to premiere on March 9 and it promises an explosive and unmissable experience with Sung Jinwoo going head-to-head against hitman Kang Taeshik.
