My Hero Academia New Movie Trailer Unveils Surprising Villain Twist

The bigwig of the superhero genre in the anime medium, My Hero Academia is once again ready with its new feature film that promises to focus on the “Symbol of Peace”. However, with the release of the first trailer of the upcoming film, the fans are in awe as the series adds a twist with a new villain introduction.

Titled “My Hero Academia: You’re Next“, the new trailer offers a glimpse into the film’s storyline as it features the original cast of the series including Midoriya, Bakugo, and the entirety of Class 1A. The trailer ends with presenting the fans with a new foe of superheroes who seems to be none other than, All Might.

The trailer drop of My Hero Academia’s new movie has startled many of the fans as it looks like Deku and his friends have to go against a familiar face. With the introduction of a villain who looks like All Might, it’ll be interesting to see how the tables will turn in the film and what would be the reaction of the enthusiasts after this revelation.

Besides, the “My Hero Academia: You’re Next” movie will be released theatrically in Japan on August 2nd, 2024. The main staff for the new movie includes Tensai Okamua as director and Yuki Hayashi as music composer. Studio Bones will be in charge of the animation production with Toho distributing the film.

The official website of My Hero Academia describes the movie as follows: “In a society devastated by the effects of such an all-out war, a mysterious giant fortress suddenly appears, swallowing up towns and people one after another. And in front of Izuku and the others, a man who looks like a “symbol of peace” stands in front of them”.
