The Dragon Ball fans around the world are in for a treat as it has finally been made official that the series will return with a new anime project in 2024. For a long time, enthusiasts have been looking forward to a sequel to Dragon Ball Super or some other update from the makers, and this time producers have come up with something that’ll bring out the Kakarot fever once again.
During the “Dragon Ball” panel at New York Comic Con 2023, the stage performers gave a lot of major updates regarding the franchise’s upcoming projects. In the same panel, a teaser for the new anime series titled “Dragon Ball Daima” was revealed which confirmed that the series will be returning in the fall of 2024.
Dragon Ball Anime New Trailer & Release Date
Directly coming from the original author Akira Toriyama, the new Dragon Ball anime series is being produced by Toei Animation. The production staff is actively working on “Dragon Ball Daima” and the series is expected to be full of adventurous battles, mysteries, and excitement.
The new anime is slated to premiere in the fall window of 2024 (Sept-Nov 2024) with an official release date yet to be decided. At the moment, there are no details about the staff members and cast but it’s speculated that the original team will reprise their roles for the upcoming anime.
Dragon Ball Daima Story
The new Dragon Ball anime series is going to be a completely original story by Akira Toriyama and will feature the main cast getting turned into their child form, including Goku, Yamcha, Vegeta, and many others. More info about the synopsis hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’ll be shared with the fans very soon.
Whatever the plot may be, fans are excited to see the Dragon Ball anime series return in 2024. The series has been on hiatus since 2018, and the announcement will give some relief to them. The new trailer has given fans a taste of what is to come, and they are eager to see more.
