Global sensation Bangtan Boys, popularly known as BTS, has amassed a massive fan following across the globe for their music and live performances. While the band is currently on a hiatus, the members don’t forget to connect with the ARMY, and in a recent session V shared his love for the legendary manga “One Piece”.
Kim Taehyung a.k.a V’s fondness for anime and manga has been a known aspect of his personality, and he often shares his interest in the medium. Likewise, in the latest questionnaire when he was asked to recommend a book to his fans, V replied with “One Piece”.
Right after V approved One Piece, it swiftly became a trending topic on social media platforms, sparking a wave of excitement among the ARMY and animanga fans alike. Many K-pop enthusiasts shared their favorite moments from the series, while others declared their intention to start reading it for the first time.
Furthermore, V once admitted that his favorite character from the series is Brook as he enjoys listening to him. Apart from Taehyung, RM and Jimin from the band are also huge fans of One Piece with Jimin being a Roronoa Zoro stan as he trained in kendo sword art to become like him.
One thing that can be taken from V’s statement is that the BTS star sure does want ARMY to check out the journey of Monkey D. Luffy as he sets out to find the treasure left behind by the former pirate king. There can’t be a better reason to start One Piece on the recommendation of your favorite K-pop singer, besides you can also try Netflix’s live-action version.
