Rei spends practically all of his free time playing video games but when it comes to fighting abilities and marksmanship, he’s among the best in the industry. After all, he belongs to an underworld family, and his parents trained him as a gifted assassin since he was a child.
9. Himura Kenshin – Rurouni Kenshin
Himura Kenshin easily ranks among the most powerful warriors and is one of the strongest anime assassins. He is a living legend who made his name during the Meiji Revolution for his surreal mastery of swordsmanship, able to effortlessly cut through steel.
Having inherited the “Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu” sword style, Kenshin’s skills allowed him to become an elite assassin at the young age of 14. Eventually, however, he grew tired of the seemingly endless bloodshed and resolved to live a life where he spent his time protecting others.

Regarded as one of the hottest female characters in anime, Yor works as an ordinary clerk at a city hall but leads a secret life as an assassin with the code name “Thorn Princess”. Even though she comes across as an aloof individual, she can pose a serious threat.
Befitting her position as an assassin, Yor is highly trained in combat and boasts monstrously superhuman physical abilities. She also has remarkably quick reflexes and is fast enough on foot to outrun a speeding car however, she’s a terrible cook though!

As a child, Akame was sold along with her sister Kurome to the empire by her parents. Later, she joined Gonzuki’s assassin squad, known as Elite Seven, and trained in combat and espionage to become one of the deadliest anime assassins ever.
She eventually switched allegiances to the rebel group Night Raid and began fighting to overthrow the monarchy. Aided by a formidable Teigu, Akame puts on superhuman physical levels by wielding a lethal katana that leaves incurable wounds on cutting.

The legendary hitman of Universe 6 going by his monicker “Never-Miss Hit”, Hit is a renowned warrior having been picked for his team in both the Tournament of Destroyers and Tournament of Power, being the strongest among them.
Hit is a stoic and composed assassin exhibiting zero to no emotions. Being an expert in his craft, he displays great confidence and fortitude in any challenge presented before him. His true strength lies in his killing techniques, as his efficiency is greatly disrupted when he refrains from it.
4. Gabimaru – Hell’s Paradise
Notoriously known by his alias “Gabimaru the Hollow”, Gabimaru is an elite shinobi assassin who spent his years killing his targets ruthlessly and became feared by many. Being raised without regard for human life lead him to hone his talent for murdering without care.
As a child, Gabimaru already possessed a raw talent that put him ahead of the others. His infamous reputation for killing his targets made him out to be a cold-blooded monster to society however, he desires to leave his murderous ways behind once and for all.
3. Silva Zoldyck – Hunter × Hunter
Hailing from one of the most powerful anime families, Silva Zoldyck is a world-renowned assassin and head of the infamous Zoldyck household. Being trained in the art of killing from a very young age, Silva is strongly resistant to poisons and can tolerate electricity to high degrees.
As an extremely skilled Nen user and unarmed combatant, Silva is also capable of producing large orbs that hold destructive power. He has incredible strength, speed, and superhuman control over his body which gives him the title of one of the best killers in the world.
2. Toji Fushiguro – Jujutsu Kaisen
After leaving the clan, Toji despised the jujutsu society and decided to take on the role of a mercenary assassin. He made his reputation as one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen and was able to take out two of the formidable sorcerers – Gojo and Geto – in a matter of minutes.
He is also the only person who came the closest to killing Gojo, who had every card up his sleeve when it came to jujutsu sorcery. Toji’s ability to outwit even the most prophesized sorcerers, no matter how strong or talented, made him worthy of being called “The Sorcerer Killer”.
