Following the record-breaking premiere of the first feature film of the franchise, Black Clover is gearing up to make their return to the television screens as well. The Black Bulls and the rest of the magic squads are set to make a comeback in the highly anticipated fifth season of the Black Clover anime that’s rumoured to be in production.
As per multiple reliable sources on Twitter and Weibo, the makers of the series has decided to pick up the Black Clover anime one more time. The anime was put on hold in March 2021 after the conclusion of the fourth season, and it’s speculated to make its return anytime soon.

An official statement from the production staff regarding a new season hasn’t been made yet however, it’s expected to drop in the coming weeks. There is no exact release date yet, but the earliest we can hope to see Black Clover anime return is by the end of 2024.
With a fifth season on the way, the Black Clover anime will see the continuation of the Spade Kingdom arc with Asta and the Black Bulls rescuing their captured friends and get rid of the evil that lurks in the shadows of the Spade Kingdom. Even though the anime is yet to return, there’s a lot more to look forward to in Black Clover Season 5 when it arrives.
