The summer season finally comes to an end and so did the musical hit anime television series, Oshi no Ko. With the release of the final episode of the first season, the supernatural drama anime bids farewell to its fans however, this sad news is followed by an update from the makers confirming that Oshi no Ko Season 2 is in the works.
Following the airing of the anime season finale, the producers of the series uplifted the new promotional video of Oshi no Ko Season 2 giving a brief glimpse of what’s to come in the next season. A teaser visual for the second season was also released featuring Aqua, Ruby, and the rest of the lead cast.

The production staff at Studio Doga Kobo is actively working on the second season of Oshi no Ko, building upon the success of the previous installment. With details about the coming season gradually being revealed, enthusiasts can’t help but eagerly anticipate what lies ahead.
Oshi no Ko Season 2 is likely to be directed by Daisuke Hiramaki with Jin Tanaka as series screenwriter, Saori Tachibana as assistant director, and Kanna Hirayama as character designer. The voice-acting cast will be returning to reprise their roles in the second season.
Oshi no Ko Season 2 Release Date
The second season of Oshi no Ko is expected to cover the Tokyo Blade arc from the original manga which follows Aqua and Ruby as they star in a stage play adaptation of the popular manga series “Tokyo Blade”. A release date for Oshi no Ko Season 2 has not yet been announced, but it is speculated to drop around the end of 2024.
Based on the manga by Aka Akasaka, Oshi no Ko Season 2 will see new character introductions with lots of drama and musical concerts in between. The next season is sure to be a hit among the fans, and it will be exciting to see how it will turn out.
