Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, the first-ever feature film of the franchise is going to premiere on June 16 theatrically. The film will be released on Netflix for international fans as well and ahead of its premiere the producers have unveiled a new Black Clover movie trailer featuring Asta in the berserk mode.
Netflix revealed a character trailer on Friday that showcases the fight of Asta against the previous Wizard King, Conrad. In the trailer, flashbacks of Asta can be seen which is followed by his new devil form. Studio Pierrot is behind the animation production of the upcoming movie with Ayataka Tanemura as the director.

“Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King” is set to release worldwide on June 16th, 2023. The film was originally scheduled to release in theaters across Japan and on Netflix on March 31, but was delayed due to the production issues caused by COVID-19.
Besides the director, the main staff for the Black Clover movie includes Itsuko Takeda as the character designer, Minako Seki as the music composer, and Johnny Onda helming the project as one of the scriptwriters. The original story will be supervised by the Black Clover author Yuki Tabata.
Synopsis
“Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King” is a completely original story centered around the previous Wizard King, Conrad. The four most evil magic emperors from the past have been resurrected and their goal is to destroy the kingdom. Now, it’s on Asta to save the Clover Kingdom from another big threat.
