Japan Picks Top 10 Anime Theme Songs For Winter 2022

Anime theme songs are the inner voice of the Japanese music industry as they provide the core to any popular series. And, to demonstrate the importance of theme songs among the audience, a survey was conducted in Japan which showcased the top 10 anime theme songs of Winter 2022.

Recently, Japanese karaoke company Daiichikosho conducted a karaoke ranking survey of theme songs for the TV anime series that started airing in January 2022 on its karaoke on-demand service, DAM (Daiichikosho Amusement Multimedia). In the released report, the company enlisted the overwhelmingly popular theme songs in the country.

The most popular song during the survey period from January 1 to March 31 was “Zankyo Sanka,” the OP theme for Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc by Aimer. The song was released digitally on December 6, 2021, and then reached No.1 on 48 domestic and 23 overseas digital charts.

In addition, the anime’s ED theme song “Asa ga Kuru” also sung by Aimer, ranks fourth on the list. The opening & ending theme songs of Attack On Titan Final Season Part 2 also made their name into the list as they hold the 6th and 3rd position respectively.
