Last week, Eiichiro Oda delivered one of the best manga chapters of One Piece and fans weren’t able to hold their excitement after reading the chapter. The fans finally got to witness the awakening of Gomu Gomu no Mi and the final form of Luffy, “Gear 5”.
Apart from that, many theories surrounding the Devil Fruit of Luffy and his connection to Joy Boy has also been pointed out in the last few chapters of the series. However, fans still aren’t able to connect the missing dots and are in search of their answers. Maybe this new leaks from One Piece chapter 1045 will help them a little bit.
One Piece Chapter 1044 Recap
Chapter 1044 of One Piece was one of the most talked-about topics last week as it revealed some of the crucial key points from the story. After Kaido’s declaration that Luffy is dead; Sanji, Zoro, and other allies felt the presence of their captain.
After that, the panel demonstrated the conversation of Gorousei in the castle of Mary Geosi. The conversation between the Five Elders confirmed that the World Government was behind the Gomu Gomu no Mi fruit for a very long time but were unable to do so in the past 800 years. According to the Gorousei, Gomu Gomu No Mi’s real name is “Hito Hito no Mi”, and it’s a Zoan-type fruit.
On the other hand, Luffy awakened his fruit, and it’s his final stage or “Gear 5”. Now, Luffy again starts fighting Kaido, and he takes Kaido to the rooftop by grabbing him. He then touches the ground to turn it into rubber and attacks Kaido with all his might.
One Piece Chapter 1045 Spoilers
According to the early leaks, chapter 1045 of One Piece is titled “Next Level”. The starting panels show the members of Straw Hat Pirates sitting together and a phrase can be seen which says “Sea of Liberation”.
The whole chapter is centred around the battle of Kaido vs. Luffy and this is going to be a lot of fun to read when the official chapter comes out. During the fight, Kaido points out at Luffy’s Devil Fruit powers calling it very unusual as it transforms his surroundings into rubber (like Paramecia) but also transforms the user (like Zoan type).
In the next panel, Luffy uses a new special attack called “Gomu Gomu no Gigant” to transform his whole body into a giant one, which makes him look like a God. Momonosuke and Yamato reach the roof and witness this new form of Luffy with their own eyes.
However, due to the exhausting fight for a long time, Luffy runs out of energy but somehow recovers again because of the drum sound. At the end of One Piece chapter 1045, Luffy punches Kaido in the face saying, “This is very funny, isn’t it Kaido?”
When Does One Piece Chapter 1045 Comes Out?
One Piece Chapter 1045 is scheduled to release on Sunday, April 3rd. The release date can vary for some international readers due to differences in time zone but, it will be either the previous day or the next day of its initial release.
