An unidentified young man has exchanged his hard-earned cash for an old game gear console instead of an iPhone 13 somewhere in Nigeria.
Many people have met the same fate at different locations over the years. Some marketplaces in Africa have long been the home of all mobile phone accessories, but also one of the riskiest places to conduct gadget business.
A video is currently making rounds on social media which captures the moment a man was counting his losses after he was sold an old game gear console for an iPhone 13. In the video, the man was seen showing the box from which he removed the gadget from but it never occurred to him that the swindlers will package such a useless gadget in such a manner. The phone’s back looked exactly like that of an iPhone 13 but the front view has the design of an old game gear console.

In other news, budding Ghanaian musician, Oseikrom Sikanii has been fingered in some fraud allegations after a lady on social media claimed to have been duped by a social media page under the musician’s name.
According to the fan, she contacted a fictitious Oseikrom Sikanii page, who directed her to send GHc100 in exchange for GHc1,500 in minutes.
The page persuaded her that Oseikrom Sikanii was hosting a giveaway and that she needed to send him the money to be a part of it.
Well, after going through the procedures given to her by whoever was handling the page, she was deceived as the money she sent to the account was never refunded to her as the page owner promised.
