Once again, Kemi Olunloyo has chipped in another controversial opinion over the secessionist agitations across the country. The popular Yoruba-born journalist has been against the calls for the division of Nigeria. Recently, she pledged her unwavering allegiance to the president Muhammadu Buhari led administration and has vowed to be a powerful catalyst towards the sustenance of a united Nigeria.

In her recent Facebook post, the controversial journalist made a very concise definition about the circumstances of secessionist movements in Nigeria. Her post reads: “Yoruba land NOT Yoruba nation and Biafra is already dead”. This is in direct reply to fans of Sunday Igbogho who have gradually began to immortalise the phrase “Yoruba nation” through their protests and agitations.

On the other hand, her view about Biafra has a lot of elements of truth considering the circumstances that have engulfed the leader of the Indegenous People Of Biafra (IPOB). It therefore won’t be an overstatement to say Biafra is already dead because the leader of the secessionist movement is cooling off his feet in the custody of Department of State Service (DSS)

It is also very pertinent to commend the efforts of the President who has strived to cripple the legs of the people trying to disrupt the unity of Nigeria.
