Nigerian music star, D’banj lavishes beautiful words on his mother as he celebrates her birthday

 

Popular Nigerian music star, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known by his stage name D’banj, has taken to his social media platform to lavish beautiful and heart melting words on his lovely mother as he celebrates her birthday today, July 23, 2021.

According to D’banj, his mother is the family backbone, and that she brought them up with the right and best human foundation. He equally thanked his lovely mother for all her sacrifices and selflessness for her family. Going forward, he prayed for God to bless her with more grace, mercy and long life to enable her continue with her great work, not just to her immediate family but to entire humanity.

“Mummy show…the original D’banj, the real showstopper A.K.A Koko Master. Happy birthday to you mama. You have been nothing but our backbone and you always taught us well, with the right and best foundation,” the music star captioned the photo of his birthday mum via his official Instagram page.

Happy birthday mom,” D’banj added.

D’banj has every reason to celebrate his lovely mother on her birthday, at least if not for any other thing, she was the financier of the video of his debut track as a professional musician, titled “Tongolo”. The song was an instant hit that opened doors of greater success for D’banj and his then music partner, Don Jazzy.

Family Background:

Meanwhile, D’banj’s mother, Faith Olubukolola Oyebanjo is a successful businesswoman and a devout Christian dignitary. She’s married to a Military officer, Daniel Duro Oyebanjo, who commanded an artillery regiment. They are from Shagamu in Ogun State.

Aside from the music star, the couple are equally blessed with three other kids, Taiwo and Kehinde Oyebanjo (twins), and the late Femi Oyebanjo, who is the eldest but unfortunately died in a plane crash at age of seventeen.
