The OPPO Find X3 family may share the same mother, but we not sure about the rest of their parentage. Don’t get me wrong – all are excellent, but you need to match your budget to each’s features.
For example, the Find X3 Pro ($1699 review here 9.8/10) equals or betters the Samsung S21 Ultra (apart from its 100X periscope zoom – yet the OPPO has a 60X magnification lens instead).
OPPO enthusiasts are anxiously awaiting all three GadgetGuy Find X3 reviews, but these take time – at least a week of solid use, over 70 tests and a lot of research. The Find X3 Lite and Neo reviews are on their way by early May.
In the interim, here is comparison of Find X3 specifications and some general guidance.

OPPO Find X3 summary
The OPPO Find X3 Pro at $1699 is practically perfect in every way. I can’t fault it, and it should be a serious, if not the most serious, contender against Samsung S21+ and Ultra, Apple iPhone Pro/Max. It is that good, and its Qualcomm SD888 and Gen 3 modem ensures the best reception strength and futureproofing.
The OPPO Find X3 Neo AT $1199 (the better part of good, better, best) has minor compromises. At $500 less than the Pro, these are acceptable. Preliminary tests (for the review later) show a fantastic camera, 1080p screen and battery life. The only downside is the lack of an IP rating. It gets our strongest consider recommendation against the Samsung S21 5G. It is way ahead on specs of the similarly priced iPhone 12 mini and $230 less than the iPhone 12.
The OPPO Find X3 Lite at $749 is a feature-packed bargain – 5G, a very capable Qualcomm SD765, and initial tests show much of the OPPO Camera magic too.
Where the Pro and Neo are sufficiently different and swimming in that ‘blue ocean’, the Lite is in a ‘huge red ocean’ of SD765 phones including OPPO Reno 4 and 5, OPPO Find X2 Neo and Lite, vivo V20/X50, realme X50, Samsung A71 (superseded), Google Pixel 4a/5, Moto Edge (superseded), LG Velvet and Wing (discontinued), Nokia, oh about 100 more.
And now that 5G starts at $399/449 with OPPOs incredible value A54/A74, I would seriously consider spending less. Given that almost all of the SD765 5G phones are better than average, we can only give it a strong consider recommendation.
